Japanese yew "Goliaph" (Buddhist pine)
Yew plum pine, Buddhist pine, fern pine - Podocarpus macrophyllus.
An ever-green coniferous tree from the genus of Podocarpus family. The name came from fruit that looked like a cherry sitting on a meat leg. The plant is two-dimensional, under room conditions grows to 2 m. Leaves - giant tailings - dark-green, narrow, long, 8-10 x 1 cm in size - are beautifully arranged in a spiral. The mature fruit, 10 to 12 mm long, round-open, dark-violet, waxy, gives the plant special imposanthism.
The plant is light-loving, grows well in cold rooms with plenty of fresh air, is not afraid of entrances, does not tolerate high temperatures and dry air, and has to be sprayed regularly.
The optimal air temperature in winter is +8+10 °C, but not less than +6 °C. Wet in summer, soils are kept wet (but not cheese) from March to July. During the period of peace (October-February), the spill is limited.
It is regularly circumcised to give the plant a shrub form. A beautifully shaped tree will decorate any interior or winter garden.
A soil mixture is used for seed cultivation: dermal and sheet soil, peat, sand (1:2:2:2). As we grow up, we first have a bark, and the seeds clogged together for quite some time remain in the seeds. After their kidneys are formed, the seeds come out of the seed shell. They are transplanting the foot foetus as needed early in the spring before growth begins. On the roots of the plants there is fungal mycorrhiza useful to the plant, so transplantation is carried out in a larger pot (without damaging the earth's coma).
